- To investigate human rights abuses and issues reports on human rights situation.
- To promote and work for the improvement human rights situation within South-Central regions Somalia in general.
- To advocate for the protection and assistance for Internally Displaced People (IDPs), returnees, and refugees.
- To Fight impunity and seeking accountability for serious violations of human rights
- To advocate for Establishing accountable institutions
- Increasing access to justicefor the most vulnerable in society in the aftermath of violations
- Ensuring that womenplay an effective role in the pursuit of a just society
- Restoring respect for the rule of law
- To Facilitate peace processesand fostering durable resolutions of conflicts
- To Establish a basis to address the underlying causes of conflict and marginalization
- To Make sure the voices of young people are heard on issues that directly affect them
- To advance the cause of reconciliation
