Somali Peace: Our mission statement

  • The SOMALI PEACE aims and objectives are to protect, promote and enforce human rights culture, Peace, and social justice to safeguards quality of life for all communities based on individual’s value, respect, dignity and secure justice.
  • We achieve these aims and objectives through a range of activities designed to strengthen human rights standards and obtain rights for Somali people whose rights have been violated by armed groups, the governments and international forces
  • We advocate a range of activities to promote and develop admiration and responsibility for better understanding of human rights morals often through best practice based on equality, dignity and respect upon domestic and comparative human rights laws as well as the Islamic human rights law within our communities.
  • The SOMALI PEACE main goals are: to protect and promote peace and human rights principles through establishment of effective working relationship, partnership, co-operation and coordination with all human right Institutions in Somalia, around the regional and the globe as well as to campaign for justice and rights for all Somali people regardless of their origin, confessional or political background.
  • To advance education about all aspects of human rights and human rights abuse and to publish the useful results of such research:
  • To cultivate a public sentiment in favour of human rights and raising awareness of human rights issues within Somalia and Somali people.
